The Trailhead

The beginning of a blog is much more intimidating than the start of a steep mountain trail.  While the trail my be tough, it's fairly clear that if you put one boot in front of the other, you will eventually end up on a spectacular ridge or beside a pristine lake.  Conversely, the beginning of a blog, like the beginning of a new school year, is so wide open with possibility that it can be paralyzing.  The potential is tantalizing, but the fear of starting on the wrong thing can make a wary blogger worry.  One must be reminded that the journey is just as important as the destination, so if the way isn't clear you can still pick a direction and put one letter in front of the other and find out where it takes you.
